Aine Whelan

Áine quickly earned a reputation as a talented vocalist with The Joyful Mysteries, an all-girl vocal harmony quintet with whom she toured throughout Ireland, U.K., Europe and Scandanavia. In demand as a backing vocalist / arranger, she has recorded and toured with many artistes including Van Morrison, Brian Kennedy, Christie Hennessy and Freddie White. She also appears regularly on BBC, UTV and RTE television.’Between The Moon and Mercury’ - Áine’s debut album was released in March 2005 and is enjoying wide critical acclaim and extensive airplay throughout Ireland and the rest of Europe. Aine is now playing some gigs with singer/songwriter Sara Corkery and they have recorded a new album to be released very soon.
